Days of the week

Monday is the first day of the week on the Chinese calendar， therefore, "一" comes after "星期"。 In order to say the days of the week, we then  change 一 to 二，三，四，五 and 六 until we come to Sunday, which is 星期天 or 星期日 instead of 星期七。

Remember, there is no 星期七！
