Days of the week and Hobbies

Published Monday, March 17, 2014.
Last updated: Monday, March 17, 2014

Telling days of the week in Mandarin is extremely easy.  Chinese consider Monday the first day of the week, so Monday is 星期一 xīng qī yī, Tuesday is  星期二xīng qī èr and so on.  What you need to be aware of is Sunday.  There are two ways of saying Sunday.  Please make sure you are familiary with both ways.

This topic has been added on the Quizlet, so if you still haven't opened an account yet, please get one and start having fun learning all these words on Quizlet.

There are two parts of this topic on Quizlet.  The first set is for you to identify the Chinese charcters and link up to the Pinyin. The second set is for you to know the meaning.  Please try both sets.

Some people haven't tried Quizlet for a long time already.  Please do not forget to check the new topics and play some game to challenge yourself.
