Fruits

Welcome back.  I hope you all had a relaxing Songkran Holiday.

This week we are going to consolidate the learning of food and fruits items.  Here are the list of the fruits for your revision.

香蕉 xiāng jiāo = banana

葡萄 pú táo = grape

草莓 cǎo méi = strawberry

橙子 chéng zǐ = orange

菠萝bō luó = pineapple

梨lí = pear

荔枝lì zhī = lychee

苹果píng guǒ = apple

Chinese Pen License

This is time of the year that we start preparing for Chinese Pen License. It is a good chance to practise what you have learned and showcase how well you can write Chinese.

Year 4 students will challenge to write 22 Chinese characters unsupported in order to get the Chinese Pen License.

A sheet of words we have learned will be handed out for students to practise in first week of Term 3.

All students have worked hard this term and they deserve a nice school break.  I wish you all a Happy Songkran.
