Dear Choir Peeps,
AWESOME performance on Tuesday night! Perhaps the best we have sung all term - congratulations!! I was pleased with your sound and phrasing in particular.
Your hard work, 100% attendance at those extra lunchtimes and team work have really paid off.
Have a wonderful holiday - I am going to be relaxing at home and spending a few days in Cambodia.
I shall put a new video clip up here soon - an idea I have for term 2.

Descants
Descants
A descant in a carol is a counter-melody (another melody) that is sung with the carol. The descant is usually higher in pitch.
Mr Hopkins has kindly allowed me to use these recordings. He recorded them in a hurry and asks that you be kind about his voice
.
Listen to the descant for Hark the Herald
Listen to the descant for O Come All Ye Faithful
See the music for these descants here.
Please learn these for Tuesday.

Thank you Mr. Hopkins and Mrs.Rachel.
