Fishy Fun!
To celebrate the New Year and our new Primary Library each class is receiving their own koi fish which will live in the library pond. Key Stage 2 classes have been meeting and realising their fish this week. All of the classes had to think of a name and then chose a fish from the crate of waiting koi. Once one lucky child had scooped up the new class pet and placed it in the bucket, a photo was taken. Some fish were harder to catch than others but soon all classes will have a photo of their fish in their room so they can recognise their new classmate when they visit the library. Our beautiful new reading pods overlook the pond so you can keep an eye on your fish while relaxing with a book.
Key Stage 1 children: you will be receiving your fish next week so start thinking on a good fishy name!
What did your class name their fish? What does it look like?

We are thrilled to see Year 11 students revising in the library and enjoying our wonderful facilities. Do remember though that other library lessons are taking place and keep the noise level to a hushed whisper!
