We are delighted to share with you that the Primary Library is back in business! Please do come and enjoy our new facilities. They are amazing!
Our whole library team has been absolutely fantastic, but I would particularly like to thank Khun Lyn, Khun Pang, Khun Toom, Khun Goy, Khun Aum, and Khun White for working long and tiring hours to get the library up and running. Once the shelves had arrived the speed, accuracy and skill in which the thousands of books were shelved was beyond belief! Thanks also to our wonderful housekeeping team for all their help and our fantastic IT technicians for setting up our computers so that we can check our resources in and out and children can access our library website and blog. It really has been a team effort.
Carli has been meeting and greeting all the students and teachers this week and showing everyone wher our different collections are housed. Exclamations of excitement and awe have been universal. I asked last week how many librarians can boast having two state of the art of the libraries completed within a year. I can now say with assurance that I know of several at Patana! We are thrilled with the end product and look forward to sharing them with you you soon.
