In K1, there has been much excitement as some children have explored ‘Under the Sea’. Divers have been ‘swimming’ to see what they can find in the ocean; wearing masks to give them a clearer view! What else can you see in our photos?
We have really enjoyed sharing the things that the children have brought from home in our ‘Group times’. Thank you! They create much discussion and encourage all of the children to develop speaking and listening skills.

The arrival of ‘tadpoles’ in the K1 garden has created much interest. Over the last two weeks the children have spent time around the fish tank observing them closely. With great excitement they have been able to watch them develop and to begin to change. They have become much bigger and now have four legs. The learning around the tadpoles and frogs was extended when a very brave frog made the pirate ship his temporary home. Some children were checking on him daily while he was there!
To go with this focus we have been learning the following song:
Two Little Speckled Frogs
Two little speckled frogs,
Sat on a speckled log
Eating the most delicious bugs
Yum, yum
One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Then there was only one speckled frog
Glub glub!
