Well done! Asia was so proud to show off her first medal .

Last week, the K1 children peaked at just the right time for the K1 Triathlon 2012! We were so proud of them all as they rode bikes around the bike track, ran laps of the running track and swam laps of the swimming pool, cheered on by the rest of the year group. With big smiles and a great sense of achievement, each child climbed to the top of the podium to receive their gold medal. They were all amazing and true champions! Take a look at the Patana News to see photographs of the event and there will also be an entry in your child’s ‘Learning Journey’ to mark this special occasion.
Observing the children taking part in the Triathlon, they all showed great perseverance and displayed a range of skills that they have developed this year. We would like to thank the P.E and Swimming staff for all of their support and for the part they played at the event too.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you all to our Foundation Stage Mini Olympics on Wednesday 6th June 8.00am – 9.30am in the Patana Sports Hall.

"Let’s get moving!’
Despite high temperatures in our K1 garden, “On your marks, get set, go!” has been heard as the children have set up their own running races. They have used the stage as a table tennis table and have further activities to try over the next two weeks. We have also been encouraging the children to dance and move to music. It has been very popular!
We have been encouraging the children to drink water after exercise and to eat healthily. This week we made the long trek to the Secondary Smoothie Bar to see how smoothies are made.
We hope you enjoy sharing these pictures at home.
