Week beginning 28th November 2011
Last week, the children enjoyed listening to a variety of Christmas stories and sharing books with friends. Santa’s workshop was a hive of activity, as presents were wrapped using mathematical skills, to work out how big the paper needed to be! It was discovered that sellotape was the most effective way of sticking it by experimentation and advice from others. The gifts were delivered in the K1 sleigh; we have some very strong reindeer who worked together as a team to pull the sleigh along! Christmas music has also filled the air, while the children have been involved in a variety of creative learning experiences.

The children in K1 continue to become excited in the run up to Christmas. The K1 areas are beginning to become filled with the wonderful decorations the children have been busy making. There is a real “Christmassy” feeling about the place!
