Week beginning February 15th
The children in Nursery and K1 looked fantastic on ‘World Language Day’, proudly wearing their national dress or national colours. We were able to celebrate the variety of cultures and languages we have in our year groups. After the whole school assembly in the Sports Hall, the children were able to take part in a variety of learning experiences, celebrating the many cultures around the world. The children in K1 had the opportunity to visit, Korea, Japan, Egypt, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Wales and Ireland in our K1 and K2 classrooms and shared areas. The Foundation Stage building was a buzz of excitement as the learning environment was explored, with children from both year groups interacting with one another as they shared activities.
At the Foundation Stage Sports Day the children were amazing! We were so proud of them all! Watching them as they took part in each activity, enthusiasm, and determination were much in evidence! Thank you so much for coming to support your children, we had a wonderful morning! A big ‘thank you’ to Miss Betsy, our P.E teacher, for all she does with our children each week.
