Week beginning 9th March
We would like to thank all of the children who have brought in things about ‘Pirates’ and ‘Under the Sea’ from home. It has been a wonderful opportunity to share puzzles, information and story books, homemade masks and treasure maps. The children have been able to talk about them and some of their friends have asked very interesting questions. One of the children also brought in an amazing video of many of the creatures that live under the sea around Thailand, taken by her Dad while diving. The children were mesmerised and fascinated by what they saw. As we watched the sea creatures on the Smartboard during our N K1 Assembly, we were able to share Miss Michelle’s expertise as an experienced diver. Using non-fiction books and ICT as a tool, we can support the children in developing a greater understanding and knowledge of life in the ocean.
The Travel Agents was very busy as the children booked their holidays at destinations all around the world last week.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all to the:
