Week beginning 10th June
Hello!
So now we are in our penultimate week with so much to look forward to! We have been putting the finishing touches to our preparations for the Art Exhibition on Tuesday. We looked at all the coloured feet that we have been making for our art trail last week, I wonder if we’ll be able to find our own on Tuesday? Some of us have been getting very adventurous, venturing into K2 to explore the environment in there. We have also been making much more use of the listening stations with a wide range of stories.
Our week was a lot of fun, we are enjoying spending time with our K1 teachers and trying to enjoy every moment with them. It is hard to believe how much some of us have grown over the course of this year! Over the next two weeks we are going to be very busy with the Art Exhibition and also our Foundation Stage Beach Party, which is going to be very exciting! We have had lots of great learning experiences this year and are looking forward to continuing our learning journey next year.
Bye bye, and thanks for reading our blog!

Week beginning 3rd June
Hello!
We can’t believe how quickly this term is going, and that we only have three weeks left in K1! We have lots of very exciting events to look forward to, from the art exhibition to our Foundation Stage beach party! Last week we sent out our beautiful art exhibition invitations and we hope that you will all be coming to see the fruits of our efforts over this term.
We have been enjoying learning with new friends, meeting the other children from Nursery and the teachers too! We have been putting the finishing touches to our canvasses and also taking the final iPad photos for our exhibition trail. It’s all been very exciting! Our other news… the turtles are back! It’s been great to see them again and we’ve even spotted a few tadpoles in the pool. Mr Raj went and rescued a pair of them for us and now we are going to watch them grow up until the end of term. What a great week!
See you soon!

Week beginning 27th May
Hello!
Our first full week back since the beginning of term has seen a lot of us very busy! We have been making invitations for our art exhibition, putting the final touches to lots of our canvasses and also learning a few new skills to apply to our artwork! It has been lots of fun in the outside area as we are getting to know a lot of the nursery children as well as the K2 children, and this will continue until the end of term.
Some of you may have been wondering where our turtles have gone! Well, the pool that they are kept in sprang a leak so our grounds men were hard at work last weekend repairing it and we should hopefully see them again soon. Keep an eye out for tadpoles too! We have been seeing a lot of wriggling little black specks in the pool over the last few days and it has certainly been very interesting to see! Maybe this week we might take a closer look…
See you soon!
