What a ROARING success! Tiger Day 2011 was a lot of fun...

   Well what a lot of fun.....

We made Tiger models with 3R,

     

made stripy tiger biscuits with Mrs Jo and parent helpers,

   

wore our Tiger hats with pride

   

and enjoyed a great Tiger Assembly with K1, Yr1 and Yr2.

Have a great weekend everyone and remember the your smile is always just under your nose.

The Giant's Glasses

Today we made some glasses for a giant!  In Raymond Brigg's "Jim and the Beanstalk"  Jim meets a sad giant and they become friends because they are kind to each other.   Jim helps the old giant by getting him new giant sized glasses so he can enjoy reading again.   
 

 

 

The giant is so happy he gave Jim a giant sized gold coin!
