2010 FOBISSEA try outs get off to a rainy start!
Students from years 4, 5 and 6 gathered yesterday for their first FOBISSEA team try out event of 2010. The swimming time trials took place at the 25m pool (under some very unusual weather conditions for the dry season) and students were given an opportunity to demonstrate their freestyle, breast stroke, back stroke and butterfly strokes over 50m.
The event was a great start to the New Year and congratulations must go to all students as we saw some superb performances. This is going to be a very difficult year for staff as team selections are going to be very difficult.
Thank you to all those parents who turned out to support their children and those that helped with the time keeping. Looking forward to seeing everyone next week when the ECA’s start,
