Science week began on Monday with a special presentation in the Black Box Theatre from Mr Brian Taylor, Head of Science in the Secondary School.  Year 4 were treated to an amazing display of Magnetic forces and their uses together with some exciting experiments changing water into ice by super cooling.

All of the experiments Mr. Taylor did in the assembly were all very intresting and fun. My favourite experiment in the assembly was when he used this special instrument with a lot of nagative charges.

I loved the trip to Kanchanaburi because I had lots of fun and some of the sights we've seen I've never seen before. I feel sorry for those children who are in that orphanage because some of them wont be able to see their parents for a long time. I know if I had to be put in there I would cry everyday and night.

I missed my mum and dad badly, but at the same time I felt excited and ready to explore from the moment I stepped out of the bus.
