Happy Sogkran Holidays
The students of K2L have been working on their "Songkran Holidays Wish List" over the last couple of days. Their original ideas coupled with the confidence, willingness and ability to write these ideas down has been very satisfying to see. These lists will be placed into the Learning Journey after the holidays. Top of many lists was a desire to get wet during the Songkran holidays which is exactly what we did this afternoon. As you will be able to clearly see in the photos, fun was had by all!
Best wishes to you all for a happy and safe Songkran holiday!
The students in K2 could hardly contain their excitement today as we walked towards the pool for our Pirate Splash session. Diving for treasure and walking the plank were the definite highlights for many. It was wonderful to see the progress the children have made in the 25m pool this term! It was plain to see that their confidence and competence in the water has improved so much.
It was a perfect way to spend an action packed and fun filled session in these soaring temperatures. We are looking forward to our Songkran Splash on Friday. Please remember that water toys and flowery shirts/dresses are encouraged on Friday. And don't forget your swimming kit, too!

Learning in the garden.....
We have had a morning of fun and discovery in the garden this morning! The Sensory Stream was particularly popular, as were the paint rollers and watering cans. The running water kept us cool and refreshed as we played outside. Thank you to the parents who remembered to send in spare uniforms (including underwear) as we really got very wet, indeed! Please remember to send a spare uniform every day this week and also a plastic bag in which to place the wet clothes.

HAPPY RED NOSE DAY FROM K2L!
The Great Wall of........Patana!
A group of students in K2L spent part of their lunch play time creating the "Great Wall of China" and were disappointed when it was accidently knocked over at tidy-up time. So, we decided to rebuild it and rename it! The wonderful wall which proudly stands on the Green Area is called "The Great Wall of Patana". Well done everyone for such wonderful cooperation. You worked together as a team to complete the challenge.
Thank you to Mr Paul who supported the children as they designed and constructed this master piece!

Have you visited the Great Wall of China? Please tell us about it.
WORLD BOOK DAY 2013
Bangkok Patana School was a very colourful place this morning! Every student and each member of staff came to school dressed as their favourite book character. Can you guess who we were?
This is K2L during the school-wide "Drop Everything and Read" session. You were brilliant K2L! WE LOVE BOOKS!
