Outdoor Classroom
The day that Maddy and Louis went missing!
The children found a letter folded up in Maddy and Louis' bag. It said:
"Go to where 'green people' put their rubbish."
Luckily Aidan worked out that we should go to the Secondary School Recycling area, where we found another clue. Eventually the clues lead the class to the front of school and over the walkover bridge. The children then found a note telling them to follow the banana skins.

Clue number 2

Clue number 3

In K2A the children have been finding out about different fruit.
They wanted to find out the following questions:
Where do different fruits come from?
How do different fruits grow (tree, bush or in the ground)?
What do different fruits feel like?
What do different fruits smell like?
What do different fruits taste like?
The children ended their learning on fruit byu taking a trip to the Year 3 & 4 kitchen to make an apple crumble, a pineapple crumble and different flavoured smoothies.
Please see the pictures below.

"I am making a smootie."

"We are chopping watermelon."

"It is fun."

"This is pineapple crumble."

"We are taking the apple core out."

"Chopping the apples."

"Ready for the oven."

"I am putting the banana into the mixer to make the smoothie."

"Time to try."

"Yummy!"

What a great result! Miss Amy thought the crumbles were delicious!

Plants
K2A have been finding out how plants help the planet.
The children have planted a mixture of seeds. They have been carefully looking after their plants by giving them water and making sure they have sunlight.

Finding out about plants were very exciting! When we are going to Norway this summer we will pick blueberries in the forest and raspberries in Sindre's grandmothers garden. Kind regards, Sindre:)
