There was a traditon that is no longer done. It is called sati. It was were women would jump on their husbend's funeral prys if they died before them. In India cows are not harmed. Sometimes they would wander into the city and cause a traffic jam. In India lots of people live there and most people speak english. So India has the most english speakers in the world.

India is the seventh largest country in the world.

The capital of India is New Delhi, and the country’s largest cities are Mumbai (formerly Bombay), Delhi, and Kolkata (formerly Calcutta).

India's population is one billion making it the second most populous country after China.
