Week beginning 21st January
Hello!
What a fun week we had! It has been lots of fun in K1, our learning has been all about the story of Goldilocks! We did some role-play activities pretending to be the bears (you can see pictures on our blog) and one of us even made lovely golden curls to be Goldilocks!
Indoors we have been doing lots of bear sorting activities, first by size and then by colour. Some of us have even been making furniture for the bears house! On Friday we had a go at making some porridge, one which was too salty, one too cold and one that was juuuuuuust right!
This week we will be continuing our learning with the Goldilocks story, even more of us will be making some tasty porridge and learning some songs too!
See you soon!

Hello!
We can’t believe that we’ve already had our second week back! It has been very busy in K1, making number prints, collaging teddy bears for our large display and also beginning some story maps. In P.E. this week we have even gone on a real-life bear hunt! It was lots of fun using the P.E. equipment to make each part of the story.
On Friday we had a great number hunt in the outside area. Can you see which class managed to find SOME of the numbers? The rest of us filled in the gaps! We have really enjoyed bringing in our Teddy’s on Friday and can’t wait to see what the teachers have planned for us to do with them this week. Our clue though is… Goldilocks! This week we could be making porridge, finding different size bears or even making the three bears house! Let’s wait and see.
See you next week!

Which numbers are missing?

Quickly! Quickly!

We're going on a bear hunt...

Into the cave!
It looked like you had fun on your Bear Hunt! I wonder if you found a real one?

A very big hello and a happy new year to everyone!
It is SO nice to be back at school! We have been having lots of fun telling each other about our holidays and meeting up with our friends again. Everyone has definitely had a good rest and is raring to go for this term!
Our specialist teachers have been making our learning very exciting and we have really enjoyed being back in music and PE. Swimming has started again too, though the pool is a little cooler than usual! Last week we started our theme of ‘Bears’ with lots of different bear stories and having our own teddy bears picnic on Friday. We even made our own jam sandwiches!
Every Friday this term we are going to bring in our bears for a new and exciting activity… Let’s wait and see to find out what they are!
See you soon!
