Trips to space and alien visitors.

This week we have been continuing to think about space. We have been learning about the planets in our Solar System, but also thinking about the possibilitiy alien life...

We have planned and told stories using paper as well as the ipads. We have also been drawing and painting our alien creations. We used popoids and k'nex to make alien characters.

This week we had a visit from 'Captain Flashpants' who is training to be an astronaut. We asked him lots of questions about going into Space. This kicked off a week of space activities. At the end of the week, we had an amazing rocket demonstration. Quite a way to end the week.
