Sports Day Delights!
Well done, 4W! Way to go!
You are wonderful wizards!
Our Home Learning task is to practise retelling the story, Wombat Goes Walkabout. We will be learning the story in class, building it up bit by bit. Your job is to practise this at home: perform it to your parents, perform it to your siblings or perform it to your cat... failing that, practise in front of the mirror!
Can you write a blurb for the story? Add it to the blog below.
Drop Pins - Take 2
This half-term we continue our Drop Pins theme but we move on to our second key question:
How do natural disasters shape the Earth?
We started off this half-term thinking about what we might need to know so that we can answer this question. We listed as many different natural disasters as we could and then thought about whether these changed the shape of the Earth - that is, the shape of the landscape?
Our big focus is VOLCANOES. What do you already know about volcanoes?
Today we had a fun Science morning where we started to practise investigative skills and learn about materials, particularly how materials change and solids and liquids. Check out the front of the Year 4 webpage for some photographs.
Can you use the following vocabulary when you are talking about materials?
solid liquid viscosity melting solidifying consistency
