Economics is taught at both IGCSE level and as an IB course in Senior Studies.

Individuals, firms and governments are constantly making choices which will affect both their own economic well-being and that of society as a whole. Within the programme, we aim to develop in the students an ability to apply the tools of economic analysis and evaluation in order to better understand the world in which they live.

At all times we encourage students to consider the consequences of economic change in an international context to develop a clear view of the evaluation of the world economy and the place of their own nation within it. Emphasis is placed on an awareness of current events and international issues.
