Physical Education
(PE) at Patana aims to educate young people in and
through the use of the body and its movement. It aims to develop physical
competence so that pupils are able to move efficiently and safely and understand
what they are doing. Developed in accordance with the English National
Curriculum, thePE curriculum at Patana seeks to advance the
social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of the child through an
appropriate range of physical activities delivered through a spectrum of
teaching styles.
Our team of specialist and experienced physical
educators work together to ensure that the PE curriculum develops
progressively with the children through all key stages. Emphasis
is placed on achieving high standards of physical competence
at each stage, equipping children well to pursue lifetimes of
activity.
