Aztec Day

As part of their Humanities studies children in Year 5 have spent half a term studying the ancient Aztec civilization. The children have loved finding out about what the Aztecs wore and made and what special beliefs they had. Above all they have enjoyed finding out about the Gods the Aztecs worshiped and how they would carry out sacrifices of human hearts to give to their powerful gods.
