FOBISSEA Model United Nations Conference

Over 270 student delegates gathered at Patana, from 11 schools and four countries, for the FOBISSEA Model United Nations Conference. At the opening ceremony they watched a Thai cultural performance of shadow puppets and heard a stimulating address from Khun Mechai Viravaidya. The delegates will be debating world issues for three days and they will hopefully solve some of the world's more intractable problems, including: rising sea levels, international migration, gender discrimination, border disputes and the uprising in Syria.
