House Athletics

Normal routine came to a halt while the whole of the Secondary school walked over the bridge to the sports fields. Students and teachers dressed in the colours of the four Houses supported those representing their House in the track and field events.

"What a fabulous day - great performances from a talented bunch of students and a wonderful example of organisational skill from the PE team. And a relief to celebrate it all that same afternoon in an air-conditioned hall!
Commiserations to Samui for not winning (though we got a fantasic 2nd place) and hearty congratulations to the overall winners, Phuket."

"I thought sports day was fun, but the only problem I had with it was that it was super hot!"

"When I asked you to stand up if you had taken part in House Athletics and the entire room stood up I was very impressed! A brilliant effort from you all and well done to Phuket House for your great win!"

By the end of the morning the temperature had reached 30o. Thankfully the afternoon awards ceremony was in the air-conditioned Sports Hall..
