Senior Drama
'Hell is you; Hell is me', a devised play by Year 13 students, was performed in the drama studio. As part of their IB Theatre coursework the group took sole responsibility for writing, directing, acting and designing the play. The final piece was influenced by their recent exploration of Butoh, a Japanese Physical Theatre form and by their work with Theatre of Cruelty.

"This was a powerful portrayal of a tangled, deranged web of emotion. Acting was superb and complemented by excellent lighting and sound effects."

"I think elyse should be given maximum credit for the immense amount of effort she put in designing the makeup and costume as without it there wouldnt be a show! Well done to everyone though!"

"I was terrified throughout the performance, I just sat there gnawing away at my fingernails. I must say I was completely in awe of Elyse - the way she moved was nothing short of amazing!"
