VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITION 2007
This year's talented artists have worked
over the last 18 months in an independent manner, from
their own themes and starting points. Some have chosen
to specialise in one medium such as oil paint or
photography and others have experimented with a range of
media. Some of the themes that have been explored
revolve around self portraiture, nature and Buddhism,
political war, human rights, fashion and smoking. They
will be discussing these ideas with the visiting
examiner this weekend and explaining the choices they
have made and the outcomes. They have critically
analysed and contextualised artists and cultures to come
to the end of their current journey.
This year students have gained places at Central School
of St Martins, Wimbledon School of Art and London School
of Fashion and look forward to taking their studies
further within the Arts.
The exhibition is open from Friday 30th March 8am - 2pm
and runs through until Wednesday 4th April 1pm. The
exhibition is closed from 2pm Friday and over the
weekend due to the examinations taking place. Please
drop in to the Exam Hall to view the collection of
artwork.
