Patana Unplugged 2010
Unplugged was the last of the Patana concert series for this year. The concerts allow students to publically present their work to other members of the school community and are thoroughly enjoyed by both the audience and the performers.
"An excellent night - well done to all who performed. Great to see Black Spades back! We will miss our Year 13 performers."

"Patana concerts never cease to amaze me! The raw talent gives the purity of the individuality to their merit..which was evident in yesterday's Unplugged. Francesco seemed relaxed for a 1st timer and sang in unison with his guitarist. What draws the attention is the pure flawless sound of Rosie and Lara...such young and sweet voices. The effortless duo Claire Mcafferty and Abbas was a good marriage between a vocal and a guitar so rare and yet mesmerizing...the pianist in Vikkie's quartet needed more than 88 keys on the piano to put her on the pedestal for being such a great pianist. Performance by Tak...amazing and hypnotizing that not a drop of hairpin could be heard and I could feel that when he played his solo everyone held on to their extended breath as if afraid to miss a single note...WOW that boy can sure play. Finally the sound engineering did a 100% job. For the rest unanimously and harmoniously had a good time performing and very original. Well done everyone! Looking forward to next year. The Music department you did a remarkable job again! WELL DONE!"

"It is fantastic to have access to these videos. My favorites are Secret Sound (written, composed, sang by Chang, also the pianist!) & Kard's Super Woman. All performers were truly amazing - there's such incredible talent at BPS!"
