Mathematics Competition

"Six of our top mathematicians from Year 9 and Year 10, travelled to Hong Kong to compete in SEAMC, the South East Asia Mathematics Competition. The opposition was tough, as were the questions. However, the experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all and the students gained a new appreciation of mathematics as they tackled a huge variety of unusual problems. As always, the students were an absolute pleasure to be around and a real credit to Patana. Our thanks must also go to the organisers who did a superb job.”

Are you a 'Top Mathematician'?

Can you answer questions like: "What is the smallest number that is divisible by all the positive whole numbers up to 12?"

"I went to SEAMC last year and found it extremely challenging but fun. I hope this year's SEAMC-ers had fun and enjoyed mixing with other maths geeks!"
