Yanomamo an Ecological Musical Extravaganza staged by Primary Musicians and Friends. The Yanomamo (forest people) is a tribe in the Amazon basin which has lived for thousands of years in harmony with nature. But it all changes. The pressures of unfulfilled aspirations, poverty, greed and population growth in the countries surrounding them conspire to ensure this. The musical, which was commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) sets out to illustrate the problems that exist in the Amazon Basin today, problems which are debated around the world.
