Boys SEASAC Champions

Girls 5th Place

Congratulations to our TigerSharks SEASAC team who performed very well at the SEASAC 2014 Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was a very competitive meet and took a real team effort from swimmers, coaches and parents to achieve the results we did.


Patana won the Boys Championships and placed 5th in the Girls Championship.


The team showed how hard they had worked to prepare by maintaining a Personal Best rating of over 90%.

Our 15 & Over Boys broke an impressive four SEASAC Relay Records and won some very exciting and nail-biting relays against rivals UWC-Dover and CDNIS.


A special mention to our Primary students Vincent Boulom, Misol Cheung and Niamh Flannery who all exceeded expectations and posted some amazing times.  The future is looking bright!

Season 3 competitive sport at BPS is up and running.  It is a busy season with lots of tournaments and overseas trips.

This season we have 23 teams running, 312 students and 35 volunteer coaches.  Furthermore our tennis, swimming and gym programmes are running as normal with over 600 students particiipating in those fantastic programmes.  It is buzzing around BPS each day.

Tigers Tennis Academy

The Patana Tiger Tennis Academy provides a complete tennis programme offering personal attention from an international and qualified coaching staff in a world-class tennis facility. The Academy currently caters for over three hundred players from as young as five years old in the Tiny Tigers programme through to the senior Tigers squad.

Tiger Sharks Swimming Club

The Tiger Sharks SC caters for over two hundred athletes from our National Squad Varsity team down to the five and six year old Tiger Prawns!

The programme is coordinated by Cindy Adair-Bolakoso, the Head Coach, who heads up a team of qualified and experienced coaches who work with an average of eight swimmers per lane. There are up to eleven sessions available per week including morning sessions with differing training expectations depending on the age and ability of the athlete.

The club competes extremely successfully against international schools being the reigning Bangkok International Schools (BISAC) and South East Asian Students Activity Conference (SEASAC) champions and also traveled during the past year to meets in Australia, Taipei and Hong Kong.

Tumbling Tigers Gym Club

The Tumbling Tigers is Bangkok Patana School’s gymnastics programme, it caters for both boys and girls aged 4 years and up. There are currently nearly 300 students involved in the programme which operates during Extra-curricular Activity time Monday to Friday with extended team sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings; Saturday morning training sessions are by invitation only.

The gymnastics programme is directed and run by Nicola McRae, Head of Gymnastics. Along with one additional full time staff member, the programme has nine fully qualified MAG and WAG part-time gymnastics coaches, many of whom have either competed or coached on the Thai national team. The Bangkok Patana gymnastics programme follows the Australian Levels National Development Programme and participates in school and club competitions both locally and overseas.
