This is the software that is used to create many of the animations and interactive applications on the Internet. This course will assume no prior knowledge and will take you through all the steps necessary to produce your own masterpiece.

Open Source Software [FULL]

With the huge costs involved in purchasing software licences, the free alternative is very tempting. This course will introduce you to some of the products available and allow you to evaluate them for yourself.

ICDL [FULL]

Earn your International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL or ECDL). This course, is not a taught course but support will be available. There are seven online tests which need to be passed in order to qualify for this internationally valued qualification. Leadership of ICT in Schools [FULL]

Chris Thatcher will lead this session. he is currently an Education Consultant with Cambridge Education (www.camb-ed.com) and has been a Headteacher for 18 years and a pioneer in the educational use of ICT. He was Past President and Past Chairman of the ICT Committee for the National Association of Headteachers and is currently based and working in Bangkok.

The active participation of those taking part is an essential part of this process and those interested in taking part should be prepared to analyse positively but critically the current situation in their own and other schools. They should also be expected to develop and maintain mutually supportive links with each other in the future.
Apple Camp

Junior Tan is a Senior Systems Engineer for Education for the South Asia region and he will lead these training sessions using Apple computers. The sessions will cover many aspects of using ICT in education and be a great introduction to Macs for those who have not used then before.
