Year 5 GO GREEN On Residential!
Year 5 trip to Khao Yai National Park went GREEN this year with the introduction of a tree planting experience with the Plant-A-Tree-Today (PATT) team in Khao Yai.

The children did a seed and germination-tray activity in the PATT Nursery.

They replanted some saplings for the nursery.
These saplings will be planted in the Park by another group in 4 months time.

They completed a very informative Nature Trail with PATT staff member, Emily.
And to top it all off they then entered a previously logged section of the National Park and planted...
525 NEW TREES!!!

What did these two get up to today?
"We planted TREES!!!"
Please go to the PATT website linked on the left of this Blog to find out more about planting trees in Thailand.
Maybe you can take the family and enjoy a weekend of Tree-planting together?

Green Team Plant a Forest
On Monday afternoon the green team met up at the outdoor classroom which is located over the bridge, to plant a forest full of the trees. There were numerous species including cassias, and some devil trees. At the end of the day the whole team had planted more than 20 trees that will soon become a forest in about 2 years time.
