Green Roof Project - December Update
Green Roof Project
Green Roof Project for the Princess Pa Foundation invites you to help preserve and protect the environment.
Have you seen those greenish - grey boxes with roof on top around the school?
Wondering what they are for?
Tetra pak and Big C are sponsoring the “Green Roof” project and Patana is supporting it.
“Green Roof” recycles your used milk / fruit juice cartoons AND turns them into roof tiles for those in need of housing – it’s like donating and recycling at the same time …. Except it costs NOTHING to you!
Here is how to prepare a tetra-pak:

So please bring in your cartons from home and fill up the boxes.
Secondary students make sure that you post into the correct House box to score points for your House as well!
December Update
Which Green Rooved House Won the December count?

Who performed best?

Secondary?

Or Primary???
And the winners are...

So what can 17Kg of tetra-pak be turned into?
- 100 Cartons = 1k
- 1 Roof sheet = 2,000 Cartons = 20 kg
- 1 table = 4,000 Cartons = 40kg
So....the first round achieved nearly one roof sheet which is a great start in a short time and one that we can continue to build upon if everyone helps.
Happy recycling!

And STAY GREEN!

Primary Green Tigers kids are making 100% Fully Recyclable paper trays for all of KS2 classes to Re-use A4 paper in their classrooms.

There are lots of classes in KS2... We need to make a lot of trays in order to cover all classrooms, Assistant's desks, specialist rooms, teacher's desks etc...

The trays are made from Re-used photocopy paper box lids.

Luckily for us...They also happen to be GREEN! Which is our favourite colour!
