Sports Assembly
Keepy Uppy Stars Demonstrate Their Skill in World Cup Assembly

Key Stage Two students had their PE and Sports Assembly today and were dazzled by the individual performances of Keepy Uppy and a class dance by Year 1B.
In keeping with the World Cup fever that is gripping the world at the moment, the PE staff chose a World Cup theme for the assembly. Each class represented a different country and nominated one child to enter the keepy Uppy competition. The honour was taken very seriously and throughout the week students and some staff had been seen practising in various parts of the school. It was a close competition with Chile coming out on top (congratulations Taneli 5M, 75 Keepy Uppies).
Congratulations must also go to the dancers in Year 1B who put on a magnificent performance with their Cheerleader dance.
Finally, well done to all those students who have helped make this a fantastic and enjoyable sporting year!!
