In keeping with the English National Curriculum terminology, Years 3 to 6 are known as Key Stage 2.

The curriculum builds on the skills and knowledge acquired in Key Stage 1, and adds further challenges as the children move through the Key Stage. Further emphasis is placed on problem solving and creative thinking in order that students become more independent in their learning. Children can access a variety of learning styles working independently, in small groups or in larger collaborations. They access specialised teachers and purpose-built learning spaces. Teachers monitor the well-being and progress of each child – we want them to feel happy and challenged.

Our Modern Foreign Language programme starts in Year 3 and students select a language to study up to Secondary School.

External Assessment
Students in Years 4, 5, and 6 complete the ISA (International Schools Assessment) standardised tests. These tests are specifically designed for students in international schools whose language of instruction is English. Click here for the latest results from Key Stage 2.
