In keeping with the English National Curriculum terminology, Years 3 to 6 are known as Key Stage 2.
The curriculum builds on the skills and knowledge acquired in Key Stage 1, and adds further challenges as the children move through the Key Stage.
Further emphasis is placed on problem solving and creative thinking in order that students become more independent in their learning.
Our Modern Foreign Language programme starts in Year 3 and in Year 4 students select one of six languages to study up to Secondary School.
Further details may be found in the Curriculum Guide for Key Stage 2.
