Pre IB Art Exhibition

The IBO Visual Arts inspired students are proud to present their diverse work. Meow represents the communication of teenage sub culture, their codes of language and their playful appreciation of each other. Meow is a vocalisation of sound and an interpretation of images that depicts the familiarity and dynamics of their peer group.

The art work produced by the students is inspired by their world, their identity, their culture and their aspirations. The media that the students have used varies from stained glass collage, computer photo etched prints, sculptural garments, photographs, computer drawings to large dynamic prints. The subject matter has all developed through personal journeys and represents each artist’s personal view of their world.

Students this year have successfully gained places at The London College of Fashion and The London College of Communication and more students will be applying to study architecture, packaging design and art and business in England, America, Canada and Thailand. Meow is a statement of togetherness for a moment in time before they launch into their chosen life’s journey.

You are invited to come and see the exhibition at Kuppa, viewing daily 10am-11pm from Friday 1st Feb through to Thursday 7th February, the exhibition will be closed on Monday 4th February. Kuppa is at 39 Soi 16, Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok 10110 Thailand
