Art Trip with the Year 10’s
Exploring Art by the streets of Bangkok
GCSE Art students travelled with their teachers to visit some of Bangkok’s Art galleries. Our fine artists explored the exhibits at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), while our photographers and digital artists spent the day at River City.
The visits were an important opportunity for students to see a variety of artworks, draw from direct observation and record their experiences through sketches, photographs and written notes. This reflective practice can enhance their own conceptual development. Giving the students exposure to varied art forms encourages them to experiment with new material and approaches.
We hope the students enjoyed themselves, it was a pleasure for the teachers to accompany them to these art spaces around Bangkok!
