Careers and Pathways in the Arts
First cohort of IBCP
Students enrolled in the IBCP had an opportunity to discuss university and career options. Eddie Ho, Head of International, Norwich University of the Arts, met with the students and spoke to them about university pathways, portfolio development and careers in the arts.
“I had the honour of visiting your esteemed school. The Art Department serves as a vibrant hub of innovation and expression. It is no surprise that your students have already achieved such exceptionally high standards, and we would be honoured to guide them as they continue their journey in the creative arts,” said Eddie Ho.
Eddie’s visit provided invaluable guidance as our students prepare for their future in higher education and creative industries. “The university visit was an insightful experience and now I know much more about where I want to head in my future,” said Alexa Love, in Year 12 IB.
Teachers within the Secondary Arts Faculty also met with parents of students in the IBCP – Art Specialism to share more about the programme and the opportunities that come with it.
Our Art specialism in the IBCP has begun with two assignments: Journeys and Senses. Journeys focuses on personal and artistic growth, while Senses challenges students to capture the world through sensory perception.
The IBCP blends academic study with career-focused learning, preparing students for future careers.
