Completion Week

Completion Week

A productive completion week..

Completion Week was an exciting time for both Year 11 and Year 13 students, filled with activities that brought closure to one academic journey and a sense of readiness for what’s next.

For Year 11s, the week was all about diving into fun, hands-on projects and interactive workshops. Working in groups, they took on creative challenges, tackling real-world problems across science, mathematics and humanities. From strategising study tips to mastering time management, students equipped themselves with useful skills for the future. And, of course, they had a blast in outdoor team-building exercises that brought plenty of laughter, friendly competition and new friendships. By the end of the week, they were all set to take on their next steps with confidence and a few extra memories made.

For Year 13 students, this week marked the culmination of many of their IB deadlines. They had the chance to fully focus on completing any lingering IB assignments and ticking off items from their personal to-do lists. A major milestone was their Extended Essay — a 4,000-word research project that reflects their hard work and academic interests. With guidance from Ms Redman and a supportive study environment, students powered through, polished off their essays, and hit ‘submit’ just in time for a well-deserved celebration on Friday afternoon.

Completion Week was not only productive but also a time of bonding, growth, and pride for both Year 11s and Year 13s. We’re thrilled to see where they’ll go from here!
