Dear Parents,

We have some good news! Over the last couple of weeks, we have had zero positive COVID-19 cases reported within our community. As well, within the last week we have been able to procure vaccinations for 690 of our Thai staff including Thai teaching staff, bus drivers, bus monitors, security guards and our business staff with the WHO-approved Sinovac.

We have just received notice that 281 of our non-Thai staff will be vaccinated this Friday, 4th June. Their follow-up dose will be on Friday 25th June, which means that a high proportion of the Bangkok Patana professional community will be fully vaccinated by the time your children come back to school after their holidays in August 2021.

To facilitate this, there will be no live lessons on Friday, but students will be expected to complete set learning tasks. Teachers will know their students have been present by the completion of their tasks.

Our campus is still closed at least until 14th June and Bangkok remains in the dark red zone due to the continued high COVID-19 numbers. We are still hoping to have the opportunity to have students return to school prior to the end of the term, but nothing is confirmed at this stage.

I’m happy to share this lovely video that has just been released from FOBISA, which includes our Primary School Choir: https://youtu.be/V61CYRsUG14

Best wishes,
