House Athletics
Secondary students battle it out on House sports day
Nothing like a cool winter morning to challenge yourself to win points for your house! Perfect weather set the stage for an exciting House Athletics event, bringing together students, staff and house spirit for a day full of energy and fun.
The day was a fantastic mix of traditional and fun events. Students competed in classic track and field events like High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Javelin and races ranging from the 800m to the exciting 4x100m relay. Meanwhile, everyone had a chance to earn points for their house by joining in alternative activities like the Target Throw, Farmers Carry, Penalty Shootout and the ever-popular Dunk Tank.
Our talented MCs and DJ kept the energy high with music and lively commentary. Adding to the excitement, houses battled it out in the Tug of War, student leaders raced in the fun over/under relay, and staff joined the action in the much-loved Staff House Relay.
Congratulations to all houses for their fantastic effort and spirit, and a big cheer for Samui—our 2024 champions, followed by Phuket in 2nd, Lanta in 3rd and Chang in 4th.
