Leading and Managing Educational Innovation

The University of Bath, UK, in conjunction with Bangkok Patana School, offers an opportunity for qualified educators to participate in the University’s MA in Education programmes. The full MA programme comprises five taught units and a dissertation. Each taught unit is followed by individual research and the submission of a 5000 word written assignment. The next unit to be taught at the Bangkok Study Centre will be Leading and Managing Educational Innovation. The unit, which is relevant to teachers of all age ranges, has a number of aims, including the following: – to provide an overview of key concepts and issues connected with managing educational innovation in diverse contexts; – to explore selected areas of practice in managing educational innovation with reference to research theory and professional experience; – to foster students’ critical reflection on the effectiveness and improvement of practice in managing educational innovation within their experience This unit is 24 hours in total over four days (17th-20th May 2019) and is part one of the University of Bath Masters units.
