Patana Pathways – Kenny
Nursery to Year 13 – What a journey!
Lead guitarist of the Jazz band and Big Band, recipient of the Grad’24 Musician of the Year award. Kenny has come a long way in his Patana Pathways since starting in Nursery.
Kenny has always been fascinated with the world of finance thanks to his grandfather and his role in the finance industry. While at school, he co-founded Horizon Gen Fund – a micro-investment youth-led mutual fund, where the main goal is to make investing more accessible for youth. As part of Community Engagement at school, Kenny was the Co-President of Project Star, an organization driving support for disabled individuals around Thailand. “We aided organizations with similar goals such as TCDF – Thai Child Development Foundation and Christian care Foundation for Children with Disabilities (CCD). The connections made in this club sparked my initiative HandyDesk“, remarked Kenny.
Another club he was part of was DATA – a club driving support for individuals suffering from alzheimer’s and dementia. As the Vice President, the team raised funds to donate to Chulalongkorn Red Cross.
Kenny thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Jazz Band and recalls wonderful memories and highlights this as the ‘one thing I would miss about being in Patana.’
Kenny has accepted his offer from London School of Economics to pursue Accounting and Finance.
Wishing you the best, Kenny!
