Plugged into Great Music!
Secondary students took the stage by storm!
Patana Plugged gave our Secondary musicians a chance to shine in performance. There were nine top-class performances from soloists and groups who performed exceptionally well. From Nirvana to Zac Effron, to Olivia Dean, our musicians spanned a wide range of music. Band ‘Irene’ belted out Alicia Keys ‘If I Aint Got you’ and will probably give a run for her money in the future. ‘Luedis’ did an incredible short rendition of Metallica’s original eight-minute long ‘Orion’ and were dressed for the part. Spooky appearances by the Vampire String Quartet now and then was refreshing, along with Dave Cheung, the MC who kept the audience entertained with his witty comments. And lastly, the Patana Jazz Ensemble entertained the crowd with some crowd pleasing music from Oasis and Foo Fighters.
We can’t wait to see what these young musicians will be up to in their next performances!
