Secondary Residential Week
Residential returns – students are not expected back before noon today.
Students in Year 7, 8, 10 and 12 are due back today and we now have estimated arrival times:
Year 7:Â 1.00-1.15pm
Year 8: 1.30 – 2.00pm
Year 10 and Year 12: 2.00pm
The front of the school was filled with bags and buses and parents bidding their Secondary children a goodbye for Residential Visits this week. The students were excitedly buzzing around, ready to go on what is sure to be a great adventure. The week will be filled with learning outside the classroom and pushing their boundaries within a safe environment. Students are not allowed to have phones, computers or tablets with them, which will no doubt give them an appreciation of the many activities that can be done without a screen! We hope our Year 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s have a great week. Year 12 are also off on their ToK camp and we wish them a stimulating week of discussion!
Year 11 and Year 13 students, on the other hand, are in school this week. They will enjoy a quieter than usual week with Year 11s in mock exams and Year 13s completing all their IB course work.
Please check out the blogs on the link below for all the information on this week’s Residentials. Heads of Year will be updating these blogs with arrival times and photos during the week (as internet access permits) https://community.patana.ac.th/student-welfare/secondary-residential-blogs/secondary-residential-blogs-november-2019
EDIT: All students have arrived safely at their destinations!
