Sharing Joy in Year 1

Year 1 warmly welcomed their friends from Grapongdeang School for their first play date of the year. It was truly heartwarming to witness the kindness and care our Year 1 students extended to their younger visitors. Throughout the year, Year 1 has been learning about Grapongdeang School and fundraising for them. Now, the students have a deeper understanding of their connection to the wider environment and communities. They recognise that while the Grapongdeang students are similar to them in many ways, they do not have the same access to beautiful outdoor spaces and amazing toys. Sharing these experiences felt wonderful and has fostered a sense of empathy and generosity in our students. We look forward to many more opportunities to connect and grow together!
