Year 12’s Bringing Ideas to Market

Business Students Take on the Challenge

Year 12 Business students have been exploring the exciting world of marketing by developing a comprehensive marketing strategy for a unique product of their own creation.

In this project, students are challenged to apply the key components of the marketing mix: product, price, place, and promotion. They are tasked with designing an innovative product concept, setting appropriate pricing strategies, selecting effective distribution channels, and crafting creative promotional campaigns to reach their target audience.

An essential aspect of the task is competitor analysis, where students evaluate market trends and refine their strategies to differentiate their products. This exercise encourages critical thinking and strategic decision-making, equipping students with valuable real-world business skills.

It has been fantastic to witness the students’ creativity and analytical thinking as they develop innovative ideas and present their strategies with confidence. This project not only brings business concepts to life but also nurtures a deeper understanding of how marketing shapes the world around us.
