Wrapping up Another Remarkable Year!
School’s Out!
The last day of school was a packed with cheers, hugs and yes, a few tears too. Students kicked off the day at the final Whole School Assembly, where we celebrated the teachers who are moving on after years of shaping Bangkok Patana hearts and minds. A huge shoutout to Vieng-Savang (aka Touctic) with a whopping 23 years, Chemistry legend Barry Oakes with 20 years, and Kelsey Meller with 15! Students came ready with banners and handmade signs and let’s just say, tissues were definitely needed.
Then came a surprise that had everyone buzzing, Mr Chris Sammons ran to the stage dressed as the Grab agent delivering the snacks for the first-ever #SummerSnackingSelfie! Don’t forget to snap those snacky summer moments and send them to ciad@patana.ac.th.
Mr Sammons also reminded everyone that registration for the Fun Run 2025 is now open, and to take advantage of the Early Bird rate.
He then shared a heartfelt reminder: “For 68 years, people have been moving in, through and out of Patana. You might be saying goodbye to teachers and friends, but you can’t say farewell to friendship.”
After weeks of joyful events, from the Dance Extravaganza and Primary Concert to Busking Day and the Year 5 Bake Sale, students are off for a well-earned summer break. Don’t forget to flip through the 2024/25 Yearbook and our Term 3 Magazine for a look back at a year filled with learning, laughter and lasting memories.
