What book do you recommend and why?
I highly recommend Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan. It is an incredibly moving story of courage, resilience and survival during World War II. It is based on the true story of an ordinary young Italian who gets involved with the resistance. It is one of those books that are really hard to put down until you reach the last page.
